Is this the ultimate DVD of all time for a girly night in? To my embarrassment, there is absolutely no stopping me once the Glee singing starts up.

The cast may not be that old, but they all did their time in putting in the effort to try and make it before they got lucky with a role in Glee. According to the grapevine:
Actor Matthew Morrison was a member of a boy band called LMNT Before getting his big acting break
Cory Montieth worked as a Wal-Mart greeter, taxi driver, telemarketer and construction worker before getting into acting
Chris Colfer worked as a cookie scooper at his high school and a dry cleaning clerk when she was 17
Amber Riley tried out for American Idol but didn’t make the cut
Kevin McHale was a member of a boy band called Not Like Them and has opened for the Pussycat Dolls
At least I can be assured that it’s not only me trying to sing along…. iTune downloads of musical selections from Glee have now gone over the 1 million mark and almost every song from the show has entered the Top 200 upon release – well worth paying for in my opinion.
